Steelin' Dan performs at the "37th Annual Sacramento Jazz Festival & Jubilee"

On May 28, 2010 Steelin' Dan performed at the largest jazz festival on the west coast: "The Sacramento Jazz Festival & Jubilee".  The capacity crowd was wowed by the band's ferocious performance.   The Sacramento T.V. Station KCRA Channel 3 (NBC affiliate) couldn't resist commenting about the band's performance on their evening news broadcast!

Hello all, My younger daughter and I saw your first show at the Jazz Jubilee. What a great show. For me, it was the best set of the whole 4-day weekend!:D I looked in the program to see when you were going to play again and was disappointed to see you were only there for that day.:bawling: (I wanted to bring my wife to see you). Well, I guess we will just have to come to one of your performances in the area. When you (Michael) were explaining why a band like yours was at the Jazz Jubilee and talked about all the "Fat Chords" your sound has, it reminded me of when I was in worship band and playing Ron Kenoly's music. Those chords looked like chemistry equations! To Julie, I was the man that brought my daughter and talked with you after the show and you mentioned how your dad brought you to the Jazz Jubilee when you were little. Great job by the way,Thanks! To Ann, wow! nice job all around! Keep up the nice job and I hope you to be seeing you next year at the Jazz Jubilee! I will be sending a note to the organizers of the Jubilee telling them how great your performance was! Take Care, Liquidspaceman, over and out!
