STEELIN' DAN was also honored to be one of the featured performers at the 2008 "Best Of Sacramento Party", performing in front of 8,000 attendees at the Sacramento Convention Center.  (photo below)

  Steelin' Dan featured on KFBK Radio 1530 AM with Kitty O'Neal!

In case you missed it, on Feb. 18, 2010 Ron Hall, Michael Beaman and Charley Langer were invited to the KFBK studios as special guests for an "on-air" interview with the one and only Kitty O'Neal! 

Among the topics that were discussed: Steelin' Dan's upcoming fundraising concert at the Folsom Community Center on Feb. 26th, plus a bit of history about the band and a few audio samples from the band's CD Demo were played on the air.  The interview was a lot of fun...  Kitty was very gracious... and (it turns out) she's quite the "Dan" fan!

Steelin' Dan's saxman CHARLEY LANGER is getting nationwide air-play as the THE WEATHER CHANNEL is featuring Charley's new solo CD "NEVER THE SAME" on their playlist.   How cool is that?   (...or is it fair to partly cloudy?)

Congrats to Charley, as his wonderful debut CD continues to impress critics and fans alike!

Charley Langer's new solo CD is released! 

 Steelin' Dan is proud to announce that our saxophonist Charley Langer, has just released his debut solo CD, entitled "NEVER THE SAME".   Charley describes his music as "intelligent smooth jazz".  Perhaps a better description is "Phil Woods meets Boney James".   

This impressive CD is produced by Ron Wikso... and includes musicians such as: Alphonso Johnson, Matt Bissonette, Kurt Griffey, Wally Minko and Michito Sanchez.  We congratulate Charley on such an outstanding CD... it definitely IS HOT!
